Nicky and I will be at Keith Price Garages (a Subaru dealer for 20 years now) who are having an open day on the 11th August.

Keith Price are at Llanwenarth Citra, Abergaveny, Monmouthshire, NP8 1EP.

Pete,

I'd love to come along but I fear the dealer staff may throw tomatos etc. at my car, what with it being an import http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Nicky used to work at Keith Price Garages before he went off and did some silly map reading job. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
He has a nice Trophy Cabinet set up in the showroom.

It promises to be a good day.

As well as Scoobysport, there will be a few
other companies, so hopefully a wide
selection of accessories and clothing will be available.
SIDC will also be present.
I'm promised that a nice display will be setup with a few interesting cars http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif,
as well as the normal Subaru range. Test drives will be available.

A marquee will be erected on-site, but hopefully the weather will be nice and we won't have to shelter from the rain.

For those of you who reside outside of Wales, please don't enjoy the roads too much. We like to keep them to ourselves. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Dave, you could just park down the road.
{As I'm sure you have done before :-)}

Thanks Pete, away ; I can however endorse all of the previous sentiments.

Beware speed traps though; have seen them hiding in the bus shelters there !

Cheers - enjoy !

It's worth the trip just to see Nicky's trophy collection. But then the Bear at Crickhowell is also worth a visit. The food is brilliant.

I don't think there will be a specific hog roast stand but I'm pretty sure there will be a burger stand there so you may have to settle on sausages. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

If there is food I will be there. But I might want more than just a hot dog. Someone mention food and a pub. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

OK then, a pub within walking distance, about 50 yds, another less than 5 minutes drive towards Abergavenny; quite a few in Crickhowell, about 10 minutes drive away.

Bob won't mind a pint but all he's really interested in is the food bit.

I was looking forward to pig roast again, plenty of crackling. Never mind.

I have emailed you to arrange a small convoy.

Anyone passing Bristol and wanting to join a small convoy. I have tried top pick a place that's easy to find for all of us. I have come up with: A Sat 11th 11:30 meet at MacDonald's just down from Harry Ramsdon's at Cribbs Causway. Its only an hours drive to at the most. I'll have coffee waiting. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
