Bike has been off the road for past two months as the battery went flat whilst I was out on it and I never had the time to look at it..

just charged the battery and checked all the wiring and could find nothing wrong so took it out.. what a blast.. having not ridden it for two months it felt so quick!! oops redline! lol oops one wheel.. lol.. oops rear wheel squirming out of bends.. lol

Think the battery needs replacing but will see how it goes..

Life in the 95,000mile 98 Blade yet then!

Simon :D

Good feeling being back on 2 wheels isn't it! I gave mine a run before Christmas after not riding it for a month or so and it was superb fun!

This time of year when its dry and the sun being out is the best time of year for me :D Summer can be too hot and sweaty and too many born agains out with the latest bike and gear not knowing what they are doing getting in the way ;)

Yes.. looking like the battery at fault.. alternator seems to be charging..
tempted to go for something other than standard battery this time.
I need to ride it for a week or so to check the current battery is dead..
just recovering from flu type thing so driving the car at the moment.

Usually used to it come the end of the year and then takes me the next year to get used to it again.. think that is why I have not got bored with this bike.. having owned it 8years this August :OMG:
