SMACS first official meet of the month
Thursday 5th january, 19:00, HARE AND HOUNDS public house, OTTERSPOOL, MARPLE, STOCKPORT, SK6 7EJ.
This is the official meet, once a month, on a thursday night. At the moment, we are meeting at the H&H, but we will be looking for a new venue for feb, further over towards Macclesfield way.
Please show your support for the club, and come along to say hello. We've got a good turnout for the organised run on the Monday before, which your more than welcome to join in.
Hope to see you all there, have a great new year.

popped over to madscientists tonight, thanks for the stereo m8 , and he came up with the idea of a alternative to the H&H meeting place.
THE UNICORN, Adlington Road, Wilmslow, SK9 2LN.

Rather a large carpark, much bigger than the H&H. I've not been inside, but Mad says it's nice inside, but can get busy. Very nice beer garden at the rear though, which would be nice for summer meets, and they serve good food, for sunday meets with the family. Anyway, we'll meet as usual at the H&H on Thursday, then have a potter over to check it out for the evening.
So, juliannwrx93, if your coming over, we'll be at the link above, NOT the H&H, after 8pm.

By the way if its the Unicorn i am thinking of - it has a massive car park - and just off the By-pass as well - good meeting place and easier for me as i can just jump off the M60 onto the A34

Ive got to drop my lad of at karate thurs night, so cant make the H&H for 7pm but should be able to make the 'new' pub at 8pm.

p.s. theres another good pub near there, The Boddington Arms, A538 off J6 M56, might be easier for people to find if coming via the M-way, good sized car park (60 ish), ive been to few meets here from other clubs.HERE

The Boddy Arms is near a Texaco garage and has a very big carpark. Bit further away from where most visitor come from.
The Romper is further up that road toward M56 and that is where the Northern PistonHeads group meets.

Ok mark, thanks, for the heads up, looks like we've got a few pubs to check out over the coming months
