Hi Peeps.
I have just heard back from the organisers of this years event who have told us that we only have FOUR exclusive track sessions, not the six we had originally hoped for. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
The reason is basically that the event is already completely sold out and they haven't even started to advertise it to the public yet!!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif
So, whereas I had originally hoped to have two sessions for newbies and four for more experienced 'trackers', this obviously now can't happen.
Five of out our six sessions would have already been sold out as demand has been so great, so I have had to limit the number of sessions to TWO per person. This isn't going to please everybody, but I have to try and accomodate everyone that has already reserved places. I will mail everyone that has shown an interest explaining this.
Two of the sessions will remain predominantly for newcomers, and the other two for more experienced people. Considering the amount of normal track days the club does, I thought this only fair.
We have decided to run with just 25 cars in each session, not the 40 that the public sessions are running. I don't want to increase this as I feel it would ruin the sessions, as it very nearly did last year with 35 cars out.
Please note then, that the track sessions at this event are now SOLD OUT!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif
Places are still available in the huge SIDC arena, but we already have 80 cars booked on so don't wait too long.
I'm sorry if this has disappointed anybody, but I hope you all understand. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
If anyone has any better suggestions though, please let me know.
Stef.
