View Full Version : Track day at Donington
RobMac 25 November 2000, 19:33 The good people at Donington Park have asked me whether or not you would be interested in doing a Track Day at Donington on the 30th of December.
The cost would be £85 and include as much track time as they can fit into daylight.
This could be an ideal opportunity to get together for a MAJOR social event (possibly in Redgate Bar?)All I need is ideas.
Please let me know by posting a reply as soon as possible.
Rob.

johnfelstead 29 November 2000, 18:06 Rob, you sure about the date?
I got a letter inviting me to a track day on that date exclusively for 40 cars and the price was £150.
Rannoch 29 November 2000, 19:36 So, John, if Rob's is off, can I come on yours instead http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

RobMac 29 November 2000, 22:13 John,
That was the date given to me by Vaughn the cicuit manager when I was at Donington last week. He said he was THINKING of running an event on that date, could I see how many Scoobs would be interested.
He may well have an alternative arranged in the week since that I don't know about, or the invitation you have is not a definite booking as yet either.
If everybody reads my original post again, they will see that I asked if anybody would be interested in doing the day, NOT that it was happening at all.
There will be instructors available, as usual, on the day to help those who have never been on track before; as well as being able to help those of you who THINK you know what you are doing http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
I will speak to Donington tomorrow to see if I can get a definitive answer.
Rob.
johnfelstead 29 November 2000, 22:39 cheers Rob,
I THINK i may be able to make that date. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif LOL
I would prefer to spend £85 rather than £150 too i THINK. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Type R 29 November 2000, 23:20 John i have got the same letter too, i think they have made a mistake, on their website it states the 16th December.
PS:- Is your car fixed ?????, it will be good to see the beast back on top form.
