I am considering buying a digital camera in the near future and have found the camera i want but if i get it fromt the US its a good bit cheaper would there be any problems buying from the US for a digital camera i.e. different formats like DVD players if you know what i mean ?

No problems at all, most chargers are multi-voltage but make sure it's not 110V only. Also work out how much VAT/Duty you'll have to pay as this will often bump the price up.

There are plenty of other places that sell cheap Digital cameras. If you do a serach on google etc.. I know a lot of people recommend e-buyer.

I have just bought a high quality Sony compact and the price was the same in the US as it was in the UK. There was one outlet in the US that was a lot cheaper however it was mail order to a US address only and I was not there long enough to feel confident it would be delivered in time.
You can check US prices on Amazon or ebay as a guide.
