Mark Colin Berry 28 March 2001, 16:44 Yeah, just purchased 2 TA288's so I can now talk to myself all day! (Actually, 1 is for Dom and Kim) SeanG 28 March 2001, 16:48 Mark, Hi....How's it going? I found an online retailer for the TA-200 and the TA-288. They also sell accessories such as hands free kits etc. The TA-200 is £69 for one or £133 for a pair from ChrisB 28 March 2001, 16:58 Good stuff, sounds like we should have quite a good network. Chris. Stef 28 March 2001, 18:37 Chris. How many can you get? Harj and I were thinking of buying some, but I'd quite like to try them out first. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Stef. ChrisB 28 March 2001, 19:16 We've got two TA-288s at work with chargers, headsets and cases. I can probably source more TA-200 and 288s through work if people are interested. The 200 should work out around £60 (inc VAT), with the 288 around £85 (inc VAT). Would be a small charge to cover delivery. Chris. Colin Berry 28 March 2001, 20:26 Did some tests tonight with the 288. Able to speak to Dom in his house from mine (upstairs) about 1 mile away but many houses etc in the path. Rich_R 28 March 2001, 20:32 I've got a TA-288 which I can bring. Could leave 1 behind the bar - saves getting up http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Rich Shaunoss 28 March 2001, 20:47 I've got a couple of two-week old, Kenwood radios I bought for work but they are coming with us as well. harj 28 March 2001, 21:11 Could someone please lend me one? Shaunoss 28 March 2001, 21:32 No Harj, were only taking them coz we know you aint got one. LOL. Seriously, you can borrow one of mine. I'm not 100% sure they are compatible though, as mine are Kenwoods, and everyone else seems to be using Motorolas. Shaun harj 28 March 2001, 21:58 well done Shaun, only problem is I have to listen to you waffling on instead of Stef http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif LOL James_Harvey 28 March 2001, 22:42 These work really well in convoys. We used 'em to devastating effect in Belgium. Should be good for photo calls too http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif James.
