Just in case you are not from Derbyshire, that is the equivalent of being able to circumnavigate the M25 at 5pm on a Friday http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
or do the M6 southbound from j11 to j6 on a weekday morning!
What roads! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Chris
neveryoumind 02 September 2001, 16:47 Can't make on a Sunday I'm afraid. Have to kick a bag of wind around a field. Have a nice trip, and try to run as many caravans off the road as possible http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

CharlieWhiskey 18 September 2001, 22:26 Route is now complete, just a few minor details to sort out & we are ready. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
The route is a mix of all sorts of road, fast, slow, straights, twisty bits, hairpins, moors, valleys, hills - even scenary(if the weather is any better than today http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif )
So there really is something for everyone! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Start will be about 10-10:30, lunch at a pub, finish about 16:30-17:00ish at another pub with easy access to routes home.
It's certainly easier to recce than Wales http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

TaviaRS 19 September 2001, 13:23 Would anyone be offended if I turned up in a Skoda? By then it should be run in, nodding dog installed, picnic rug on parcel shelf, a nice thermos of tea and some sarnies all ready to go. Actually it just needs some exercise and its better than driving aimlessly around on my own trying to find some decent roads.
CharlieWhiskey 20 September 2001, 20:18 Yep, come along, but It would be wise not to bring the nodding dog, and you'd better make sure your flask is well fastened & secured http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Mellow Yellow ! 20 September 2001, 21:42 Brian.......you listenin to Charlie's advise http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
CharlieWhiskey 23 September 2001, 10:25 better get this back at the top before Mikey organises a Gunthorpe bash for the same day http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif
Chris
MyDreamCar 23 September 2001, 11:12 Add me to the list - White 95WRX, any excuse for a blast!!!
