Neal,

Hopefully Rich Squire will be in attendance too. He actually owns the 22B, and it would only be right to have the car driven appropriately! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

It looks like the 330D will really look like a BMW this time! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif LOL

Count me in too!

As for the idea of a drive... I have planned a route taking in all the best roads in the area. The route covers 50+ miles with a stop in sunny Stratford upon Avon. If the Clio is run in, I'll be more than happy to lead the way, otherwise I'll be co-driving for Matt (wrx). I will be drawing up some detailed pace notes to be handed out on the day and thoroughly checking out the route for hidden speed cameras & the like.
Matt Oz, wrx or myself will keep you updated.

Cheers,

Jon

So not including myself we have approx 4 people up for a drive.
What is the intended start time of the drive?
The drive should include returning to the Bull so people who cant make the drive can meet up with everyone later ?

Anyone suggest times considering it will get dark at approx 7.30pm

Come on guys we need some more Scoobies, we only have 8 out of possible 12 cars.

There's a recce been done for the drive this week so times can be sorted as soon as poss.

Anyone who's never been on a drive before, they are fun, you get a route so you can drive as you like. It's not a race to see who gets back first, and everyone I've been on the speed limits are respected in the villages, then you can open it up on the lanes.

Please can you add John in MY97 Red and Steve in Black sport special, both up for the drive aswell.

WRX you organise the drive as I am not sure if I can make it any earlier than 6pm as I could be Paragliding that weekend if everything goes to plan. (Weather dependant sport!) Sort it out so people up for the drive will make it back to the pub by 7pm

All those just for the meet afterwards lets say 7pm at The Bull pub Meriden.

Anybody require directions to the pub e-mail me.

Cheers

Neal

We have just done a recce tonight. Don't know weather its to long though? We could save it for another time or include it with Sundays meet.

The drive is a mixture of roads to suit everyone, it will be a total of 78 miles and include a half hour pub stop (regroup).

It will start and end at the Bull pub in Meriden and as everyone is meeting there for seven the start time would need to be around 4:30pm, allowing everyone to drive at their own pace.

Please post interest as soon as possible so that we know to tidy the route sheets up now, or leave it to later.

Thanks Matt
