I was *ahem* "suffering" Saturday morning, well, up until mid morning I wasn't sober enough to drive! Thank goodness for those breath test thingies, I hate driving even with a little alcohol in my system......

Nevertheless got back at half past 12 in the afternoon, very groggy and had lost my mobile, I could here it all the way back and it was interfering with my alarm.....it kept setting it off http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif

Took the dash apart cos I heard it coming from in there....and where was it? Tucked up, hidden, under the passenger seat http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif

Did I feel a muppet?

Very much so! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

My parents ridiculed me for the next day http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

See you Tuesday CW, I will be there this time http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

1st the Good News: The Day 1 route is sorted, it is VERY long and tiring but the lunchtime pub is absolutely excellent and the roads are AWESOME!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Bad news, well no news really, still haven't had a chance to sort out the details with the campsite http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif (only so many hours between nightshifts eh 'chelle) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

DOH!

Does anyone know how to build a worm hole to Wales from the Midlands, as the commuting is taking it's toll? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Kev/boomer. I will be in touch when I've slept, if I'm not out west again! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Is there a Little Chef or anything at the services?

I'm thinking of getting there a bit earlier for a little bit of brekkie (nothing too heavy though, I don't want to be sick in the twisties!)

Means an earlier start but I enjoy the road over to Shrewsbury from me (which should be nice and quiet) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Yes Chris, 'chelle & I ate there this mornin. It is the standard Esso/Little Theif/Burger King/Travelodge + a Harry Ramsdens - if you are getting brekie get in early as it takes 20 minutes to make a pot of coffee and 35 minutes to cook a slice of toast, don't try for side orders as they will arrive after you have left, http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif

Next question then...

What's the crack with eating facilities at the camp site?

Should we attempt to better Pete's and Mellow's attempt at arson and bring a BBQ? Or can we eat properly cooked food in comfort elsewhere?

MMmmmm Mellow and Pete doing a BBQ eh http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif ... I can smell the steak tainted with added LRP and SUL now http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif I suppose the question has to be can they cater for all of us ?!
Mellow/Pete where are you http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/Gif/FSFred1.gif http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/Gif/FSBarney.gif
So it will be a choice between http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/FoodBeer.gif or http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/FoodPizza.gif or http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/mica/FoodBurger.gif tough call....

Kev...brilliant mate, it'll be good to watch your back end coming out again, so to speak http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
Our BBQ was admired greatly, it fed several hungry people with A La Carte bacon butties and meat ( I think ) on a stick, Pete's alcohlic breath caused the barby to ignite bonfire style and well.....he just never stopped breathing on it, or drinking for that matter.....anyone for more meths.....say's Pete.......no..........no........oh go on then http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

This IS one of the BEST CAMPSITES IN WALES!
