OK peeps I need your help. I took the pics below at the request of my housemates (yes I live with these 2 :D and the blondes single :norty: ) These were quick grabbed shots before they went out for the night.

I have a feeling I may get asked now to take the pre-prom photo's. Any tips you guys can give would be much appreciated.

I know the back grounds are rubbish so that 1 area that need improving as well as my crap photosho skills, (that was a pair of knickers I pS'd out over the radiator). I have 1 flash which is mounted off camera and may beable to lay my hands on a couple of halogens.

And for some reason, these look a lot better as prints, the skin tones are alot more natural, although she did blush just before getting infront of the lens by herself.

Yep, get the backgrounds sorted and the lighting and youre away. As you know, ive just started to do some studio work, and its a lot harder than you think, well it was for me anyway;)

I used 3 studio lights, two with softboxes, camera was set to manual, 1/125th, F11, Iso 100.

For a background, rather than spending on a dedicated one you could always go to Woolies and buy a kingsize duvet colour, un pick the seem so it opens out to double the size and then dye it whatever colour you want.

They both went out dressed like that :D Mind you I did spoil them rotten, not only did they get a scooby taxi there and home again, they even got pre-heated fleeces waiting for them in the car. Went down well I can tell ya :D
