Basically, he needs to be sat in the briefing room at Silverstone for 07:55am http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif but he also needs to change wheels and we (SIDC Members) need to find the enclosure with the Tyres Northampton Van.

It seems a shame to go down without Salsa-King in tow 'cos the trip down there is, in my opinion, an important part of the day where you can really settle into the mood of the day and obviously enjoy the view and sounds of other scoobs on the road around you http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

My suggestion is this:

We meet at BK Thomas' as arranged except we pull the time forward a mere 15 mins to 06:00am. I KNOW, I KNOW it's early but hey it's only 15 mins earlier than b4 http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

The reason for bringing it forward is to allow a comfortable margin to get to Silverstone on time and allow for the ODD hiccup. Yes it's probably psychological, but I wanna get there un hassled and i'm sure we wouldn't want Salsa to be stressed prior to his big Silverstone Moment! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

We will still pull through LFE to pick up a few of you there. That will be at approx 06:30. Try and park where it is easy to see you and for you to get into the convoy. I don't envisage stopping!!

Final logistics point, Please don't do the "Fashionably late" Thing. It pisses people off. Because we are slave to Silverstones time table, we cannot wait for you so if you turn up late and we are gone, it's your fault.

We leave BK Thomas at 06:05!

To allow for traffic problems or whatever else may happen at that time in the morning, if you are going to miss us, Call me on 07818 046104 and we will take it steady to allow you to catch up.

any idea what time you expect to pass Watford Gap services? No-one appears to be coming from my direction, and I have never been to Silverstone before, so it would be nice to join your convoy when it's passed the M6.

Big thanks to all the Nottingham crew at Trax yesterday for welcoming me into the crowd. Excellent day out, marred only by the fact that I only got 1(!) lap in of Silverstone before the session was cancelled. Having seen the P1 involved :eek I can see why.
