I'm putting my ver 5 sti type r up for sale(1999). Its grey. 47k miles on clock. Mot till april 2006 and tax till dec 2005. The car has no expense spared on it. I've had the car for 18 months. The car was originally imported from new by David Hendry Cars. There have been 3 previous owners.

Its got a fsh. I changed the cambelt, maf and lambda sensor at 39k miles. A full service including box and diff oils was carried out about 1k ago.

I have recently spent £2k on the car including new wheels, new apexi avc-r boost controller, rocker gaskets replaced, new uprated reat anti roll bar and drop links and new custom recirc d/v.

The car has always been run on optimax with ob.

Got all the usual type r extras such as ac, close ratio 5 speed box with dccd, water spray on intercooler, electric windows and mirrors.

The car has RAC Trackster and a car 1 alarm and immobiliser.

The car has been excellent and has never let us down. Estimated power is 350bhp +++++++ Has proven 330bhp @ 1.2bar and car safely runs 1.49bar peak. Not managed to put on rollers yet @ high boost. 12.3 at Santa Pod with room for improvement.

The car is in really good condition. There are some stone chips on the front bumper and a few pin dents in the drivers door. Otherwise a really good condition car.

had the original sti 5 spoiler up until it nicked.. replaced with an sti ver 6 one as i prefer them

would u consider a deal with my vauxhall vectra supertouring 200 prototype 0011, there is only 38 made by MSD and tuned by swindon race engine, there is 19 left, i use the car for shows and average 4k a year, it has lowered final drive 4.45:1, koni road/race suspension, AP suretrack limited diff, 330ml disc with 4 pot ap calipers, 0-60 6.5 secs and 60-0 in 2.6 secs and can out brake a ferrari 355, 17" white speedline alloys, 3.0L cams, revised ecu, k+n filter, A/C, E/M, E/W, RCL, electric recaro seats, carbon fibre gear stick/surround, steering wheel and ID plaque, its glazier white, P plate with 106,000 miles, just had new clutch and slave cylinder along with cam belt, tensioners, poly v belt tensioner, the car looks and goes like new, if interested then e-mail me craigst200@hotmail.com or pm me, i have owned this car for 4 years and is also got 6mth tax and mot till june.

I am, and its a great car, but too expensive for me. :( I'll watch the thread in case it goes cheaper, though it's already a good deal for someone with 11k.

took the car for a drive today after not driving it for a while (trying to disattach myself from the car to sell) and its awesome.. hope it goes to a decent home.
