Richard boomer 22 June 2001, 18:23 Northern Camping Trip is that weekend http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Thus can't make Gaydon http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif mb Squizz 25 June 2001, 15:33 Shame Martin can't make it. Haven't seen you for a while, matey... Sounds like fun. I'm sure I can drag some peeps to that. See you there. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Etheridge-Bird 25 June 2001, 16:50 Richard - look forward to seeing you! Richard. Simon West 15 July 2001, 20:55 What a top day-out!! Too many super cars to mention, and the parade around toward the end of the afternoon was excellent. Saw a few Scoobynetters..Squizz and the gang and also a UK300 from Listers in the car park. Perhaps a section for Scoobies next year?? Simon Richard Askew 15 July 2001, 22:06 sorry for the no show peeps - 80 quids worth of booze on Sat nite in Worcester meant there was no way I was gonna even contemplate driving ...... although somehow I remained fairly sober http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif ...I'm sure I had been mugged unless I had drunk myself sober...... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Squizz 16 July 2001, 08:26
quote:
Originally posted by Simon West: Saw a few Scoobynetters..Squizz and the gang and also a UK300 from Listers in the car park. Perhaps a section for Scoobies next year??[/quote] Where were you Simon? And where were you Richard (Etheridge)? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif It's not every day you get to see a Viper GTS ruin an expensive set of rear tyres by doing a monster burn out! All the Mitsubishi FTO's in the world ever... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif Ferrari's so abundant as to be quite boring... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif You're damn right about no scooby presence though! I think we'll have to organise an SIDC presence next year http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/cool.gif Especially as they let any old EVO in... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif My favourite moment of the day? When I was paying at the booth to get in. A bright orange Dodge Challenger R/T pulled up alongside. Everyone fell silent, until I let loose a "Yeeeehaaaw!" http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif The occupants loved it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif What a car... JCM76 16 July 2001, 08:50 What a top show, thanks to Squizz and Karen for asking to come along http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif A distinct lack of scooby presence though, myself and Squizz were there, a Uk300 from Listers arrived just as we were parking up, and we spotted an RB5 when leaving. But apart from that it was great, just about every car you could think of was there, including an old Ferrari race car that almost deafened us as he went past. James http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Simon West 16 July 2001, 22:18 Hiya Squizz I was there with my nephew & RB5, did give U a wave in the carpark, and an ear-full of 'zorst when I left http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif The Ferrari grand prix car did sound awesome!! Still like the TVR Tuscan (sooo many colours) and the Lotus 340R. Did U catch sight of Del Boy ?? I saw him in the museum with his cocktail glass. I'm sure the SIDC could get a section next year judging by the fact there was a Smart car section this year.....Supercars!!?? Catch U later Simon Squizz 17 July 2001, 08:11
quote:
Originally posted by Simon West: Hiya Squizz I was there with my nephew & RB5, did give U a wave in the carpark, and an ear-full of 'zorst when I left http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif The Ferrari grand prix car did sound awesome!! Myself, Karen, James & Sally seem to rather like the RB5's. The Tuscans were my favourite looking cars at the show, maybe apart from the Dodge Challenger. Del boy? I got a good look at him. He was a look-a-like, but he had the voice down to a tee as well. Good effort! Hope your nephew enjoyed himself...I know we did. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif GranTurismo 17 July 2001, 08:56 Ah ha, So there you are, were, Diddnt see any of you! I wasnt in the Scooby. Oh well, next year. MattOz 17 July 2001, 09:26 I was there! Got interviewed about my Aprilia for a couple of minutes, and then had to join in the Cavalcade of Supercars! LOL http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif Absolutely want a Diablo now. No question. The Orange Challenger was v.cool. I was really surprised how tall it sat! You can NEVER get bored of Ferraris either, although that white Testarossa.............. Why? Half expected to see a geezer with a mullet wearing white shoes and a salmon pink suit with the sleeves rolled up walking around the Heritage centre! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif A great day, and I'll be sure to be there next year!
