Now then, The EVO boyz all started with best intentions but all 12 of them have mailed me to cry off, I blame the 40 litre fuel tanks myself and 4000 mile service interval HAHA http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Nice cars though
That said, alot of them have read the invite so who knows who will turn up http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Just gonna get me curry outta da microwave, hang on.............
Damn its hot http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif
So what's next oh yeah, Start time and place.
12:30-13:30 hrs Unicorn pub, Gunthorpe. Logiclee, could you do the honours with that site link thingy to the map http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/confused.gif TA
(Bloody hell this curry is hot!)
While we are having a quick half and waiting for the cars to arrive, i will hand out route maps Detailing the route in more detail than i am prepared to post here http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
From Gunthorpe, we will head southeast to a beguoe little place called Keyworth to an excellent pub. This place "happens" to be a short walk (150 meters) to that midlands scooby mecca called TSL. Go meet the god they call Graham and also see trouser in his native environment http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif (Assuming they are open when we get there that is).
From Keyworth we enbark on a scenic route through the "hoo-loo" (countryside) south to a little villiage called Diseworth, Again fabulous pub.
Then Time allowing one of two things will occour:
1) We call the karting place to see if there are any availiable slots from 17:00hrs. If there are, we go
or
2) We decide that Karting isn't what we wanna do for this meet and we pop down to the other scooby mecca in the midlands, The Middle Bell in Barton under Needwood.
Then if that wasn't enough driving for you, we head back to Nottingham Via the M1 to allow people to depart homewards and have a final get together in a pub by the showcase cinema's in Nottingham.
Those who then want to sample Trouser/Salsa/Craigamongouses Hospitality can arrange transport and sleeping arrangments (Should be interesting michelle http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif ) Those who need to get off can do as the pub is on the Ringroad so any major route is easy to pick up.
So there you have it, now no doubt, there will be better ways of doing things on the day etc and indeed i've probably missed a few details. If you need further info, please ask, If you have any further suggestions, by all means post them, but they may not happen until the next meet.
All ya gotta do peeps is fill up ya steeds and come have a laff http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Remember, this is not a military exercise, it's a bunch of http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/cool.gif people havin fun in thier pride and joy and an opportunity to talk oversteer, Overboost and over the top http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
What duya all think......You in?
