Hi,
I have the above boiler thats has a leaking heat exchanger,it is cast in 2 halves and is leaking on the joint,does it have some sort of gasket in between or is it just a sealant joint and if so what do i need to seal it,there is evidence of sealant already there that looks original.

Had a similar problem with a Stelrad, years ago.

A phone call to a local plumber's merchant had me buying a kit to replace the seal. It cost a few quid.

Unfortunately, when I started work, the heat exchanger was too rusted to be any good, so I ended up with a new boiler.
