Etheridge-Bird 22 August 2000, 01:03 Dave - I am working on getting my wife to let me go on 26th(only been married 6 weeks) and cars are a bit of a sore subject 0 but she has to understand who is boss (right).
Are the other Scoobs meeting there or en route???????????????????????????????????
davespencer 22 August 2000, 14:03 Richard, I believe everybody is making their own way, unless you are bringing lots of scoobs from your area and want to start a convoy.Tell your wife that plenty of other activities will be on,also the hotel is the birthplace of George Elliot with lots of history to it. or If you want to make an afternoon of it come to Trinity Motors A47 Hinckley at 12 noon onwards, look forward to meeting you and the new bride. dave.
Dave I'm up for it, as I only live a few miles away I have no real excuse not to !!

As long as nothing else crops up, I'll try to be there. Is there somewhere we could meet at a certain time, or perhaps an area we could all park together? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Stef.
davespencer 25 August 2000, 13:33 Stef, are you enquireing about sat 26th at midday at Trinity Motors or at the Hog Roast at 7.00 pm. I could possibly help with fixing the parking at both venues and sort a meeting place prior to arriving If we can find out how many would like to come, i will try my best to make it a good meet. So far not many people seem interested. Flyers have been left on windowscreens at most sporting events so who knows what will happen.I will e mail you. Dave.
Stef 25 August 2000, 15:51 Dave.
I will probably just come in the evening as I am working during the day.
I'll call you later.
Stef.
