Daves pub at ashby looks good for me for a weekend meet, a saturday afternoon is fine with me. Most of the midlands guys are around derby/leceister/donnington area.
Can you post a few more details like if he does food (at weekends), how big the car park is, facilties for kids, beer garden etc.
Personally as long as I can get a shandy and have a chat I am happy just thinking about people bringing families with them.
Great idea though
cheers

Are you local?
I must pop into Sad Dave's next time I'm down there for a waitress inspection http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
(I only live in Chellaston so it's my normal stomping ground)

Er... can't get much more local than Chellaston... I also live there!!!
Top of High Street, off Snelsmoor Lane, in the new houses, how 'bout you??
Rob.
Somebody has got to take the bull by the horns, so I will.
Suggest Meet @ Sad Dave's @ 10 am Sat 24 th June.
From there suggestions are welcome. as previously stated I can't organise (busy running pub) and I don't know the area very well.
I have built Dave's expectations up to expect Ashby's biggest ever scooby gathering on his car park.
At present there will be me and him and a poss two others. If no-one else is interested I will go anyway.
P.S. Rob Mac Are you taking the p**s out of my spelling or what ???? (I know how to spell DEAFINNITLAY)
Jim.
I either cannot type, or I cannot spell.
Probably both!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif I am paid to drive, not to be literate!!
Wasn't meant to be a p**s take, but I can start if you want me to... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Rob.
Actually, looking back through your post, I reckon your car is the red 5 door. Am I right??
That's shocked you, tucked away in your little corner hasn't it ??
I go through the walkway often on my Mountain Bike and have seen your car parked in your driveway.
Small world aint it?
Rob.

No, can't say I've seen you tearing up High Street http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif but will look (& listen) out for you.
There is a red 4 door around which I keep seeing in Shelton Lock, any ideas who that is?
C.W.,
Not sure, but there is a red 4dr. with funky wheels that resides near the A6 roundabout in Boulton Moor.
Rob.
Are you sure it isn't "SAD DAVE" in his MY94 ???????
Definately isn't THAT sad!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
