My local one has shut down now on canal road, in Bradford.
I'm wanting somewhere that has a good quality machine and somewhere that can fit tyres without marking the rims. Also they must use stick on balancing weights.
I'm supplying the valves and tyres.
anyone know anywhere local that is up to the job?
;)
thanks.

Troy opposite Tradex is very good - first class machine (unlike the Troy garage at Halton).
Not too sure on what you call that area of Leeds??

avoid at all costs my mate used to work there..
Try motorsport wheels on Coal Road. Basically you want to ask them if they have a plastic foot on the machine that puts the tyre onto the rim.

I bought my wheels from Motorsport Wheels and they do a very good job, unfortunately they arent open on a Saturday.
Not sure what problem your m8 who worked at Troy had, i can only report on the service that ive had, and the quality of machine that they use.
