Thinking about getting the ickle woman a camera for Christmas. Don't really want to spend a fortune as she'd only be taking pictures of the new house, the cats  and on holiday. Budget is flexible.
Any suggestions,
Ta

Jessops are doing a nice Casio Exilim EX-Z10 for about £130.
5mega pix, sound record, video...
Has some manual settings for aperture and shutter speed. Also a nice feature called 'best shot' which allows you to use the best pre-selected settings for different scenarios.

I just got my brother his birthday prezzy (and his Christmas prezzy too) from http://www.cameras2u.com/
The Canon Powershot A520. That's a lot less than the Jessops price, it allowed me to get a 512M card as well, bringing the package to the same as Jessops charge for the camera on its own. Arrived next day.

We've got an A520 (or 540?) at work for taking snapshots etc.
It's a cracking little thing and produces fantastic results :thumb:

And above all, it's a Canon! :thumb:

Got to agree with the Canon A520. Got it for £139 from www.dabs.co.uk (http://www.dabs.co.uk)

I'm tempted a little by this :

£89 for a 5.2Mp camera. Wife has a Nikon Coolpix5400 which she uses for work but the above seems pretty darn cheap for that spec ?
