While driving home late at night after work I have been watching the implementation of vast numbers of speed cameras on the overhead gantries on the M42.

How to spot them

Driving towards them you will see the black variable speed signs,
to the left of them if there is a small grey box that looks like a strobe in a box this is accompanied by a speed camera on the gantry.
As you pass under the gantry you will see a grey bracket and a small Gatso type device attached to it.

There are now generally 3 on a gantry and there are so many that you can now lose your license in as little as 1.5miles !!!!!
