I've got a mate that needs a decent a$$-kicking...any good tracks near Sevenoaks?
We'd prefer the slightly faster kind of carts..the regular rent-stuff is far too slow for us. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
Anyone else interested maybe?

Hi Jerry,
Try Buckmore Park in Chatham, Kent.
I waited at PowerStation most the day for you. Nice of you to let me know you cancelled your appointment with them. I went up with others from the SW only a 80 mile round trip and we were sorry you never turned up. Went for dinner with Dave (BigBear).

I second Buckmore park. An awesome circuit with a flat out down hill sweep which used to turn into uphill hairpin but now has been extended to bigger loop.If you can race the full circuit then go for it you won't be disappointed.
Further south is Lyyd another good circuit with some mighty kerbs to hop - you'll know you've raced this one.
Just north of M25 is Rye House (Hoddesdon) with a fast straight leading into an evertightning 180 degree right hander - just see how long you can stay on the accelerator for.

Gizmo,
That hairpin, was the one I went round at full throttle! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif Shame it was raining, or else I wouldn't have spun off at about 30mph, recieved whiplash before headbutting the steering wheel!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
Since then I've spent untold amounts of cash, and 2 years visitng a chiropractor!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif But I think the karate, rugby, football and being clumsy fool generated extra money for the chiropractor!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
Yes, I do still go go-karting, disbite the previous experiences, but now I wear a neck brace!! It was handy when I went backwards through a straw wall at 20 mph at Brooklands!!
All of this makes me think I shouldn't be allowed behind any wheel, ever again!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Are you going to Rye House on the 14th?

David,
I hadn't planned to! Where is it, what's happening??
I was planning on popping along to Power Engineering that day, and deliver some of my old and now sold bits!
Cheers
Andy
Another circuit that is fun but has a lot tight corners is Bayford Meadows in Sittingbourne but personally I'd go to Buckmore. I visit it twice a year racing 2 stoke karts but I think you'll enjoy it with the twin engined pro-karts that they run! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
SAM, I would be up for some Karting on 30th June, you around at all that day?
My car is being serviced at Barretts and I will have a few hours to kill.
Rich.

Me and some mates would be interested in some karting action on 30th june, let me know!!!
Thr track at Buckmore Park is now 1200 metres and has everything you want - long fast bits, twisty fast bits, slow techical bits and a blind flat out left hand turn on a crest http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif
Bayford Meadows is a bit boring as I personally fell it has too many twisty bits and not enough fast bits.
Lydd is a superb circuit and has everything Buckmore Park has except the blind crest and hills. It's bit of a drive but well worth it.
