View Full Version : Cambridge meet
Who's up for a meet at the Plough in Fen Ditton next Thursday (17th) or the following Tuesday (22nd). Should be very pleasant in the beer garden next to the River Cam, now that we have the lighter evenings. Which date suits most people?
Grahame
Hi Graham
I'd suggest the 17th as the following week the beer festival is on http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Glad to see that Dave M is making a special effort to come all the way from Scotland to visit our 'lil ol meeting. Much appreciated. If the weather is any thing like today, it should be a humdinger!

AnthonyJ 13 May 2001, 01:58 It would be great to catch up with you guys this thursday. What time do you normally meet up? Whereabouts in Fen Ditton is The Plough? Is it that big place quite a way off the main road out to the A14?
Anthony.
Anthony,
We meet from about 7.15 onwards. The Plough is located about 1/4 mile from the road going out towards the A14 - take the road on the left ("High Street") opposite the Blue Lion pub as you go out towards the A14. The pub is down by the river Cam.
See you Thursday
Grahame
Richard Gledhill 14 May 2001, 00:54 Bit more info on where it is... From the A14 come off at the Fen Ditton turn-off towards Cambridge. After a couple of miles, in the centre of Fen Ditton, turn right (the Blue Lion pub will be on your left as you do so). Follow the road down for about 100 yards, then bear right at the War Memorial. Follow the twisty tiny road round for another 200 yds or so. There will be a sharp left, and then a bit further up the pub is on the left while the road continues round a bend to the right. Great venue...
See you on Thursday!
Richard
