Well half an hours notice of cancalation. Cheers guys some of us aren't on the net all day to find theses things out!!!
So two scoob's turned up sat there for two hours jumping every time we heard a loud exhaust. (still expecting others to turn up)!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/mad.gif
I'll go with my original plan next time Guildford meet.
ScoobySnack 12 May 2001, 09:36 I was that other Scooby and I can't beleive there were just 2 of us..........
There were more imports in the car park (Skyline, CRX, Eunos)than Scoobys
Shall we try again.....

J
Likewise. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif
No-one care to respond.(or are you hiding?)
Fosters 12 May 2001, 20:52 I'm really sorry about not giving more notice. I intended to be there, but being on a help desk has it's drawbacks for planning.
It's only 1 week in 4, so I'll be at the next one - promise!
Guys - next time you are at the Downshire Arms, look carefully at the way that "Arms" is written on the back of the restaurant staff's sweatshirts..... Somehow the ups and downs of the letters r and m look far more like the letters n and u.
Honestly, you'll believe me when you see it, and then you won't be able to look any of the staff straight in the eye.
Tim
druddle 14 May 2001, 09:49 Sorry chaps - couldnt get there and i apologise for the lack of notice.
I will DEFINITELY be there this Thursday with the MY01 and hopefully me mate with the Racing Puma that now has new brakes.
I will have the camera aswell so we can do another shoot and get the photos up on the web Thursday afternoon again.
Dave

Andy Tang 15 May 2001, 14:04 I'm torn at the moment, the A303 or the A30!! Motorways can only take you so far, but I guess that's what happens when you go to the arse end of nowhere!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

watch out for nasty placed gatso's on both roads. look out when you have gone downhill and under a bridge on a quick bit of road as there are quite a few on the backsides of bridges that you cant see until the <FLASH><FLASH> goes off....

Andy Tang 16 May 2001, 09:56 Dave,
You obviously don't know me that well, I drive as if Miss Daisy is in the back!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
Thanks for the warning http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif , but with a 6 hour journey ahead of me, I think I will be keeping it at sensible speeds!!! (More petrol consumption issues!!!)
Cheers
Andy
