Posting on Behalf of Darren Lloyd...

"Thankyou for all who attended the last NON-SIDC meet last month (12th April 2001), hope you all enjoyed the chin wag.
Same again this month, but just in case I can't get round to calling all of you, here is an open invitation for new and existing Scoobsters, to meet at the Plough and Sail (on the A130, between Hanningfields and Chelmsford) 8.00pm Thursday 10th May 2001.
It is a Family Friendly pub, with sit down food etc. These evening meets are, a bit late for most Kiddies (even though it's not getting dark now until 9ish!) but be assured the next meets will be scheduled more for Families, i.e. Sunday afternoon's at different Family friendly locations.
These meets are in addition to the SIDC schedule and ALL are welcome"

The SIDC one was planned before I took over as RO for Essex, so I plan to be there.

I was posting this on behalf of others, but my flame suit is pretty thick and can sustain all forms of abuse for any length of time http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Other than that, I can't really understand everyone's problem!!!!!
There is no war, that would be juvenile.

It is pretty simple really......this NON-SIDC meet is probably pretty much the same as the SIDC one. This gives the opportunity for the ladies and kiddies to gossip/chin wag and blokes to have a couple of jars, brag, take the pi55 and discuss Scoob related probs and possible mods....No more than that really.

The next meets will be scheduled more for Families, i.e. Sunday afternoon's at different Family friendly locations. This will not fall on the same days as the SIDC ones. This would give the opportunity to not have to decide which one, but allow individuals to go to both, depending on family orientation, i.e. if u have bods like me!

So come on lads, stop throwing down gauntlets and pick up your beer jugs. It's relatively a short life, so stop being bitter and enjoy it http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif !

This is just a post for INFORMATION.
If you are bored, juvenile, frustrated at home in the bed or with you're boss at work, then please post sarcastic, petty and any tedious comments here.

Love 'N' Hugs, Jacko. ***

P.S. I'll buy a beer to the first person to stop bitchin

Chuckdog, just put it me tab dude. That is my local, apart from every 2nd Thursday since a couple of months ago http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

James, good to see you have taken the mantle. I might even come along (if you'll let me), to one of these meets to see if it's worth renewing my membership.

Cheers, Jacko (politician and scholar http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif)
