OK, this should keep ptholt happy http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Whos up for another get together down this way? Last time was good but we need a bit more driving this time and pub food is always a fine idea. Lets see a show of hands before we decide when& where. Anyone who lives down this way and doesnt go is a big hairy fairy hehe http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Cheers for the responses guys/gals. I suggest we set a date for a month or two from now to ensure most people can make it.
Suggest first weekend in July 1st or 2nd?? Meeting place: well we all met up at pease pottage service station last time, just off the M23 Jcn 11. Alot of space there for bundles of cars and shelter if its weeing with rain. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Stupot, to make life easier I've got a couple of those motorola walkie talkie things (got them in usa for theme park visits, dead handy) we can use them to keep in touch when under 2k apart.

Sounds Good!

I'll have to check if 2nd July is free? if so then i'll be there for the drive!

What sort of direction would the drive follow?

Only a suggestion, - but! don't you think that 11.30am is a little late! e.g. Traffic!

You know how frustrating dodgy sunday drivers can be!

Yeah 11:30 might be a little late, i remember how the sussex countryside spotters club got ripped to pieces when we went for a drive last time !

Perhaps the keen drivers could go for brekkie then meet the rest for lunch later on, keep everyone happy then.

Pete, the walkie talkie thingies sound great! I love gadgets. Now I just gotta stay within 2k of u hehe. I like the sound of the earlier start tho. We could meet up and go for a spin at say 9 - 9:30am and end up again at Pease Pottage at 11:30 for the people who cant make it before then. Got a particular route in mind?? Some of the back roads down to Brighton are pretty good.
Stu
PS, how is the motor?

Sutton is good, I'm in Morden but my kids are in Bromley, right royal pain in the Bum !!

You dont drive that Silver WRX with HKS Exhaust around Sutton & Rose Hill do you ??

Anyway we can sort out a meeting point for this day out, unfortunatly I will be taking it sane if the kids are with me, something to do with the court order etc and my eldest being a bit of a blabber mouth.
