When's the next one? 1st December? I've got a new job in Manchester starting in 2 weeks and will almost drive past the Micklehead on the way home! If so will try and get my arse there (will be in a Fabia vRS though!). Hope you're all okay. Jase.

what happened to the probe...............????????

It was a Cougar, got traded in. Actually wanted an Evo but driving 70 odd miles a day in that wasn't really an option! So had to go for a diesel, hence Fabia vRS. It hasn't been delivered yet but I've found out it can be remapped. Oh god . . . another car that begs for mods! :norty:

It's the TDI PD 130, same engine that Rev has in his car so he'll know more about it than I do. Quite a few companies do remaps for them, most seem to get around 180bhp and 300ft/lb of torque. I think anything beyond that murders the standard clutch! The good thing about the remap is it still does 45mpg on a 'spirited drive'.

The Skoda garage in Manchester is next to the Mitsubishi garage and we had to drag ourselves away from the MR FQ 320 on the forecourt. At some point early next year we plan to move closer to Manchester but until that happens I need the oil burner to cover the mileage commuting in the traffic jams.

I need Sat Nav as well, because if I get diverted somewhere I'll be screwed! I don't know Bury/North Manchester at all. So if you have any sat nav suggestions I'm all ears!

Scoobess and an A-Z ;)

Hmm, well I was kind of hoping for a fancy box I could play with.

A PDA before you filthy minded-people think anything else. :norty:

Something like an iPaq with TomTom, but there's so many variations I haven't a clue what the differences are and what's necessary. And I don't want to have wires trailing all over the dash, so something with a built-in GPS thingy. And if you can play tetris on it, even better!

I've seen the TomTom things which look like little mini televisions, but how the hell do you update them? I want to add speed cameras etc.
