Hi all,first post & I'm scrounging already

I'm thinking of opting out of my companies car scheme & getting a WRX on a personal lease plan, however all of the main insurers I have contacted require that I am the registered owner

Does anyone kow of any insurers that deal with leased vehicles

If anyone has any idea's or advice it would be much appreciated.

Never had a problem with company cars & insuring them in my name (LV & A-Plan). Why would private lease be different? Give A-Plan in Thatcham a call & ask them.

I have my company Golf insured through Tesco (as with the scoob) and they have no difficulty with this.

It's been a few years but this used to be the case with Direct Line also.

 

I've got a WRX leased from Subaru.
The V5 shows that it is registered to me but my address is care of International Motors.
I'm insured with L & V without any problems.

Regarding Subaru leases, I found that with a bit negotiation with Subaru dealers, they came in quite a bit cheaper than other lease companies and chucked a few things in on top.
