I've been using 7dayshop for a while and rate them highly, but as it seems like they are no longer doing any Canon gear, where are the best alternatives?
Hong Kong sellers on eBay look ok but then the factoring of shipping, insurance and possible duty plus the delay makes them less attractive.
Who's best in the UK for good value and good service?
Ta!

I tend to use Warehouseexpress for my gear. Very good service, next day delivery and normally a bit flexible on the price listed on the site.
Even had some surprises with Jessops online for price matching, not so much joy in the shops though.
Neither were as cheap as 7Day for Canon glass, but I've heard plenty of people complain about this outfit's customer service so I've always stayed away myself.

i really do recommend e-by. Even if you do get hit by tax, you will stilll be saving, i have bought all my camera gear off ebay, except for the 70-200 f2.8is and the only reason i bought that over the counter here is that i needed it in less than a week. Even so it cost me over £300 more for the privalige.

I've had excellent service from www.digitalfirst.co.uk (http://www.digitalfirst.co.uk). UK sourced stock too, unlike 7dayshop (get all my Canon paper and ink from them) who sell mostly imported kit.

How did I miss that one? You've got me drooling over the 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 DO IS USM Lens now... :p

Just be aware that digital first do not source all their kit within the EU (let alone the UK!)
I bought my D70 from them, and when I tried to register it for support on the Nikon website, turned out if was an Asian model, so not valid for any warranty claims!
I do have a 2year return to supplier warranty with digital first though, and they deal with Nikon for you, but it's somehting to be aware of.

I think Canon lenses have an international warrenty.
