Ive been to view a 1999 wrx sti from a private seller. From my limited scooby knowledge all looks fine apart from a few minor cosmetic bits. The car mechanically seems fine but i only know how to check the obvious simple things. Before i make an offer id want a specalist to have a good look round the car checking the mechanical components etc. I know I could have an RAC inspection done but id rather a scooby specialist went round the car. Also is it best to have a compression test done?

So does anyone know of a specialist scooby garage or member off here that knows all there is to know in the Doncaster/Sc u nthorpe/Grimsby area that could help??

Id suggest calling Jeff or Dean at the Subaru Service Centre in Sheffield. For thirty minutes or an hours labour theyll find anything thats wrong with an Impreza. I get them to do the Imprezas that I import and I really cant fault them.
