I fancy having a go at macro photography, and have seen some very cheap +10 lens filters on ebay - are they any good?

What about reversing rings?

I'm only experimenting, so I don't want to spend loads of money on kit I may never use again...and I'm not a pro, so absolute quailty is not really an issue...
