Anyone fancy meeting up on the East coast for a change?.
Thought I would test the water for a meet in
York/Scarborough/Whitby as there seems to be a few more Scoobies around this area now.
How about Saturday 18th Nov?, should give
it time for the floods to subside etc.
Cheers

Ok,
There is a couple of other scoobies that I know of in this area that are interested.
How about meeting in Whitby which will be a good run down from Teeside. There are great roads over the moors past Fylindales Early warning station to Pickering/Thorton Dale.
If anyone else is interested please join in with any other suggestions.
Cheers

Ok,
How about we meet up a Whitby on the 18th.
The coast road down from Teeside will make for a good run.
If any one fancies a trip over the moors past Fylindales early warning post and on to Pickering/Thorton Dale we could arrange something.
Anyone else up for a meet?.
Cheers

I've been out of the Scooby scene for various reasons but I do fancy a thrash around that part of the world.

Phil,
Will sort out a meeting place and post it on the thread. Will be in or around Whitby.
Want to get somewhere easy to find with enough parking etc.
Sent you a mail seperately.
Dont use all your fuel up at donny this weekend. If the petrol crisis/blockade comes off you will be hoarding it in jerry cans to get home!!!, at 7mpg it will be a few cans as well.
Cheers

Ok,
Have decided that the Ambulance station at Whitby will be a good place to congregate together to start off. My wife works there and it is easy to find and is good for parking and is off the main road.
Have attached a map (hopefully).
Coming in on the A171 Guisborough road continue over the roadabout to the traffic light junction and go straight over onto Watershed lane.
Ambulance station is on the left about 200 metres down.
Meet up between 11:30 and 12:00 so we can sort out if any one wants to go for a blast over the moors and stop off or return to Whitby for lunch.
If this sounds ok with everyone please confirm that you can make it so we have a good idea who to expect.
Cheers

AS Phil says, anyone interested in coming along just turn up at the Ambulance station,
11:30 - 12:00, Good blast over the moors and
a stop for lunch.
You know it makes sense,
