Default New Car £10-£14k To Spend

Jaguar is going and I have a few debts to pay first so will be left with £10-£14k to spend on another car

I will be doing 500 miles a week in it.
Must be minimum 200bhp
Fit in it 6ft 5in
Fuel economy isn't a major issue but anything saved is money in my pocket if you see what I mean....

Considering a:
Subaru Type R
Civic Type R
BMW M5 (At a push...)
Alpina 5 Series

Any other ideas? No more softtops after the little w@nkers last time.....

I'm trying to find details about sourcing or a model report on a Toyota Aristo V300, but they are like rocking horse manure. 2JZGTE in a GS300 body

Mmmm nice ideas guys.

You say M5 at a push.......no contest then, get an M5.
Question is.... Are they really THAT good. Is it going to put that big grin factor on my face? Are they THAT quick? XK-R was fun as it had 400bhp and 419lb-s torque.

Toyota Aristo V300
Basically a Supra engine in these yeah? Tell me more

V300 - yes, weigh nearly the same as an M5 though and won't handle as well out the box I expect, but oh so tunable. Apparently there is no model report available so you'd have to go for pre 1997, not sure why this makes a difference, presumably you're exempt if you are old than a certain age.

Nice motor Bud. Goodluck with the sale. I'm gunna say somthing really irritating now, but if I'd not just bought a MY99 scoob I'd have seriously considered it. Fancy a PX for sorted 8.5K Classic. It'd give you a nice motor AND 5 - 5.5K cash.

Cool

If your thinking along the lines of a CTR, have you considered an ITR DC5. Better all round car, and that way you make your minimum BHP requirement

Once the Jaguar has gone which is in the g/friends name and as above stated I have a few debts to pay first in the original criteria as posted on the first post. Money left I need another car.
