i like photography but would not say i know too much about how to do the perfect pic...so just say i got kucky...the pros out there will see a few bad points but im happy with the pic

Nice pic, I would personally crop it at the top - the metal fence draws my eye away - like this

Creates a more abstract image, but concentrates your eye on the breakdancer - you could go even tighter just to include the orange area of grafitti behind

Yep thats better, but would still crop to the top of the orange area and maybe take a bit off the bottom, but thats not really necessary - welcome to the wonderful world of Photoshop :)

I find that the subject doesn't stand out against the background enough, might look better if you desaturate it.

Mask the dancer and desaturate the rest, takes about 20 seconds, simple, even for SN'ers :D

Magnetic Lasso to outline the subject, then copy as a new layer, select the background layer and desaturate it.
