My 2001 51 plate bugeye's 24hr clock has died, no fuses appear to have blown, nothing else has stopped working, any body had this happen or could it just be that it is buggered?

Did you resolve this one ?
The reason i ask is the clock on my MY99 died for a few days this week although you could still see the time [just] i thought it must be a bulb or summit but before i could have a look bingo it's back to normal.
