Skyline 350GT - anyone driven one?
Just wondered what it was like?
Looked at a year old one the other day, really liked the look of it.
Any other comments on the car?
Cheers, Alex

I have not driven it, but I have driven a Fuga 350XV, which is closely related to the V35 350GT (same platform & engine). Car is very quick & handling good for a car of such size. I think the 350GT will have quite good handling, as Best Motoring tested a few of them in the past, on the Tsukuba track. The 350GT Coupé managed to do laptimes that are close to the Fairlady.
It's called the Infiniti G35 Coupe here. Infiniti is the luxury mark for Nissan (as Lexus is for Toyota, Acura for Honda etc.).
Apparently not as raw (not to mention as nice looking) as the 350Z. Depending on gearbox has either a 280 or 298bhp engine for auto and manual versions respectively (at least here in Canada). Certainly sound great under acceleration (when not hampered by an auto box).

its a japanese manual version I've looked at, which is badged Skyline.
Agreed, not as nice as the 350Z, but a nice saloon coupe - don't want to go to two seats only.

This thread is almost a year old BTW.
Dr Evil has probably got one now anyway....................probably just stopped himself from buying the latest super duper top of the range SLi crossfire Turbo Ultra GTX XT Graphics cards for his PC and had enough money within a couple of months .

Looked at the Skyline Anniversary edition the other day, but don't want to spend P1 prices on a car again.
So looking at the RX8, MX6 MPS and Alfa 159 2.2JTS Sports Wagon... all quite different cars, but similar cost.
As for Turbo Ultra XT etc.. GPU... nah, just got the XFX 7950 GX2 XXX Edition (no, really
)
