Personally I dont think it'll take any time at all. In fact I reckon it will all be forgotten after the next race. Remember a few years ago when you had all the fuss over Coulthard amd Hakkinen with team orders. Likewise Schumi and Barrichello. All that fuss lasted til the next race and F1 as always just carried on as before.
Maybe the outcome will be that we have no more races at Indy. Well so what, although it a vast motor complex with a fantastic history I dont think F1 would be any worse off without it. Attendance has fallen during the last few years anyway as the yanks lose interest and to me its a crap circuit anyway.
