In Zoe's old car (which fell to bits on Sunday) I had installed a Desion MP3 player with integrated 20GB HD. She loves this unit and has asked if I can install something similar in her next car. Her new car is an 02 reg Fiesta LX, one where the radio etc is built into the dash in such a way as to be too difficult to remove.

Does anyone know of a cost effective method of providing Zoe with her 20GB of music in her new Fiesta?

I know Desion used to make a unit that allowed you to install their HD in place of the OEM CD autochanger but they don't appear to make that any more:(

Thanks in advance for any help :)

One option would be to fit the Dension unitr using one of these -

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=108815&item=5782192160&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Otherwise, dension do make an external hard drive unit which can be fitted to an oem unit with a bespoke lead and remote display. Not the cheapest option, but available if you do an internet search.

The remote hard drive unit was the thing I was thinking of, it doesn't appear to be listed on their site anymore :(
