im new to subarus and have exactly same car/problem.
have discoverd cusco dont sell service parts for these units however they do sell replacement inserts (ie just the piston bit)
these guys are the importers listed on cusco.jp

6 week order time or 150quid airfreight !!!! and units are 92 each...

anyone know of any other cusco suppliers ?
