A good friend of mine is keen to get a hold of a late Classic Turbo with warranty (pref MY99+) and has been offered one at a well known Ayrshire garage.

I haven't seen it in the metal yet but am told it has the RB5 type splitter etc but interior-wise lacks, amongst other things, the map lights. It is dark metallic green in colour.

Firstly, does anyone know who's car this was (any info/history greatly appreciated); also does the description sound true to a MY99, or more like a MY98 with cosmetic surgery?
