i have just bought two front toyo t1 tyres due to the lft hnd side tyre wearing out on the outside, i had tracking done at powerstation but this problem still persisists after 2 weeks i can see the tyre wearing out on the outside. the bloke sed it was a product of the handling due to the bumpster mod(roundabouts apparently).

I have a 2.0na anyone else experienced this prob?

I think we all do to be honest.
My Sti v3 is very modified and runs different settings to your car (mine are radical) and I get the inside front 50mm of tyre wearing way before the rest.
I once had a new UK Turbo, MY 2000 which had chronic wear, but a standard re alignment did the trick. Put it down to pot hole bashing.
Was perfect after.

Are you sure all is well with the car (ie no crash damage etc)?

Graham.

A dealer would know, but across the back of my Sti v3 the only 'hand' writing is on the suspension cross member which is correct.
A decent body shop will aso be able to tell you if the car has been fixed.
Good luck,
Graham.

its roundabouts mate. live near mk and my front left is the same. the good thing is thet it doesnt make the tyre illegal as you still got the 1.6mm over 3/5 the centre of the tyre. so just change the wheels over every 6 months n they wil lwear more even! only solution is go stupidly slow round roundabout and corners........ which isnt why you bought a scooby is it?
