I did

Waiting until Monday morning to reply mate just to make sure I quote you the correct prices. (I was under the assumption that alignment was £120 but I have seen others quote £60-70 odd quid. Perhaps this was without the bumpsteer mod... but then I was told by the boss we tend not to do the alignment without doing the bumpsteer with it...
hence the hesitancy to reply.

Plus the fact I don't take the works diary home with me to know when there would be a slot that we could fit you in on...

Cheers Andy,

Let me know tomorrow mate and I can make a definate decision to book in the car. As I said, I probably won't be able to make it down until the week after next i.e. some time during week commencing Monday 30th May (presuming you guys could fit me in that week). Would it be you that did the work?

What difference would having the bumpsteer mod make, what's involved and how long does it take. I am willing to pay again for alignment (even though I've already spent this amount out only a matter of weeks ago) but would be really p***** if it didn't cure my problems.

To sum up, I want my car to handle the best it can (without spending massive amounts of money) BUT without losing any of it's general day-to-day relaxed drivability when for example cruising on the Motorway. I took the car today to Scoobyshoot-out (only to spectate) and to be honest it is driving crap in terms of motorway crusing (which accounts for approx. 50% of my driving) as it's constantly pullling to the left (although it does corner well on the twisty stuff) and I reckon the wheel vibration is beginning to get slightly worse (although I still can't say it's servere). I wonder if something maybe loose after my previous alignment set-up?

Cheers Martin

Just to quantify what I said above, My confusion comes from that the newage cars don't have a lot of bumpsteer and therefore we don't mod those, that's why the alignment is only £60 quid.

Hmmm logged in as the Boss this morning..
