It's a very rare event on Scoobynet, a brand new forum and I could not wait to make the first post. I bought my first WRX in 1998, back when they all had to come through Ireland as personal imports, things certainly have changed a lot since then!

WRX.CO.UK started life as an enthusiast web site, and gradually grew into the largest independent Subaru importer in the Southwest, based in Plymouth.

Anyway thats enough of me wittering on, please see the next post for the first Trade Sale (officlal that is) on Scoobynet.

I wish I did! As you are probably aware, you need a model report to import and register a JDM newer than 1/1/97 and so far no one has produced one. There have been some imported but the legality of their registration is dubious to say the least. There are some that crop up for sale in the UK, some on this board, but beware the version 5/6 RA Vltd in blue must have blue front seats and a black interior, or its a fake.

The last one I saw for sale on the board was an A1 cars though!

Lee.

Thanks Lee.
I've viewed a couple but due to mine not selling, I couldn't commit to buying - hence the move to dealers who may take a trade in.
If you could keep me in mind / on file in case you come across one I would appreciate it.
I'm in no rush, so anything up to this time next year will be considered, and I'll amend this post if I find one.

Chris

Everthing's for sale - you just have to make an offer they can't refuse ;) :D

Just out of interest - where did you buy it from, or did you import it yourself ?

Very nice motor :) - some people have all the luck on deals ;):D
I've found a few, but there mainly private sales and I need a trade seller as I've a car to part with.
No rush though - mines for sale and if it goes I've a mate who sells £200 cars - I'll borrow a heap to run around for a bit and visit all the private cars.

the search continues............
