I've just spent all day with a mate taking apart my Scoobie. We've looked at the guieds and have managed to complete nearly all of the install.
We have been stumped at the final hurdle. The brackets that come with my Pioneer CD changer do not allow it to be fitted undernearth the rear parcel shelf AND still be able to eject the cartridge.
I know someone else will have come across this problem, so how did you get around it? Currently, I am looking at getting some custom brackets made to get the thing to fit.

From: North Yorks, MY03 PPP, now run a Mondeo ST TDCI 06
I fixed mine under the passenger seat, facing forward. If your changer is not to high, it is far more convenient in the car than in the boot!
In my last Impreza the changer was in the boot, but it came fitted with brackets as standard. I attached it to the floor on the left hand side of the boot, in the recess, rather than under the parcel shelf.

Yeah, tried the passenger seat
Could not get the changer to fit anywhere while still being able to eject the CDs

I've found someone who will make a bracket for me at least. Should have it sorted in a few weeks
