Perhaps some kind person will transfer it from General Spouting to this site-Please?

If someone could that'd be great!

Just the review I need to read as I've been drooling over both for a while now and tinkering with the idea of getting one of them or a BUELL xb12s.

Apparently, the new triple is meant to be seriously good so look forward to reading your review mate.

Hope you enjoy it. The Firebolt rear end is a big improvement on standard..... all you need now is the fairing ;).
See you at some UKBeg meets this year?

Mine in it's latest guise:

Check the calender at UKBeg. Donnington today and, IIRC, Goodwood in April.
All sorts of possibilities with the exhaust but you will lose the exhaust valve thingy which is one of the big advanteages of the 12.
I would wait until someone comes up with an aftermarket pipe that keeps the valve. If not the Ti Force pipe is the best looking but VERY expensive.

If you go to one of the meets you'll probably be able to see and hear a few options.

Will do , as I'm on the Buell website.......

This exhaust malarky confuses me, as it seems some people say Race kit makes it run smoother, others say other pipe and airfilter mod has the same effect...........

I';ll keep me eyes out for a different can first. Also have a second standard can but nobody to modify it..

Did you contact Tubbs at DG20 about a modified standard pipe?
If not try "Bubba" at KD Fabrications. He is based in North Carolina and sells the "Drummer" pipe. It's a very popular modfied standard pipe for the XB9/12 (a couple of UKBeg members use it). He is about to release a new version designed specifically for the XB12.

They are very reasonably priced and the current exchange rate makes them quite attractive even after you've included shipping, VAT and duty.

The Buell race kit is ok but it doesn't give the best performance, is very expensive and the can is still made of mild steel and will rust in no time.

Oh.... and the April event is at Brooklands not Goodwood.
