Looking for something more practical than the Evo for my next car, quite like an E46 330D Sport, there are still a few new or pre reg 05 plates about with 5 years free servicing. Residuals are prety good, nice looking car etc etc. The new 3 series is nice but only available as a 2.0d and SE spec at the mo. Dealer reckons Sept at least before he sees a Sport version, and then the 330 may not be here till Jan 06.

One dealer recommended I get the Auto, as residuals are stronger although he did say he would have no trouble shifting a manual as some people will not look at the auto. Interesting he mentioned lots of Evo 6/7 and Impreza drivers trading in for them.

Also love the new A4, in Avant guise though, think it looks better than the Saloon.

I've read Chiark's threads about the new love in his life, anyone else running one, especially the auto??
