cant even rember what it looks like now
but the 6 megapixel thing on that page is cheaper then the 6 megapixel thing i have just looked at in asda, so asda`s deal is probably not as good as i thought??
i dont know much about cameras, is it only the megapixel count that determines its quality (in real terms?)

it could have 20 MP but if the lense is like the bottom of a milk bottle you will still get ****ty pics.
There are a load of factors to bear in mind.

Nah........why buy a camera from someone who is known for making electronics?
Would you rush out and buy a Subaru fridge? Or a Hotpoint car?
What most people seem to be saying is that the well known camera makers, Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Minolta etc, have had a lot of time to make sure that their optical systems are up to scratch............the electronics are pretty much the same in all, but without a decent lens, you'll get nowt worth looking at.

Alcazar... you beat me to it :)
I bought an Olympus cheapie digital camera........... I have been told it has the lens / optics of the expensive cameras but in a cheaper plastic housing.
