Looking at one of these to-day , any good , looks nice and comfy with a big lazy v twin ideal for weekend cruse?

I remember they got a slating in the press for being slow, poor handling and generally crap, but don't believe everything you read. Try and blag a test ride.

They didn't get slated everywhere. Perhaps because some magazines/journos aren't quite as slaved to fashion and trend following as others...

I rode it for a while and thought it was the mutts nuts. Not necessarily my bag as an only bike but far, far better than my colleagues in the press suggested...

Thanks for that,spoke to a dealer to-day and was offered a test ride:)

the dealer said that its a great bike for crusing on and very happy at speeds around 80mph but take it to over the 110 mph mark and it starts to run out of steam. he said it was quite good in the twisties as well , sounds ideal for sunday cruzes around the welsh mountains.
