Hi there. I've got an MY94 WRX which I'd like to lower the ride height on and upgrade the shocks. I've been scrolling through the threads in this section trying to get an idea of the best set up. Basically I'd like to lower the ride height by about 30mm and stiffen up the shocks for enthusiastic driving every now and again! However, I still need it to be relatively comfortable as it is used as an every day car. I'm not really into track days and don't do any racing etc.
I know that there are always compromises with suspension but if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate the help. Cheers.

So you want to go round bends faster, but in comfort?
Just fit front and rear Whiteline anti roll bars (rear bar on middle hole setting)and a good alignment by a good specialist, ie Power Station, TSL, Roger Clarke Motorsport and you will be surprised as you will get both.
I promise.

I thought you might be the one to reply. Cheers for the sugestions, I'll give them a go and report back with results!
Should I stick with the standard shocks and eibach springs to alter the ride height or try and get some STI struts as some suggest to stiffen it up a little?

Complete Sti suspension legs are a great idea if you have a WRX/UK turbo.
The ace job would be a P1 set-up.
Remember, you will want more and more when you get started.
you have been warned!

Only thing I would say about fitting Eibachs is that they dont lower the car much. Eibach reckon 35mm (I think) but you wont get close to that.

Can anyone resommend an alternative make to Eibach springs then that are half decent?
Whereabouts did you (911) find the STI struts from? Were they off ebay or from a breakers yard?

Do a lookup on H&R Springs. They lower the car more than Eibachs and there are a few people with them fitted.

H&R are a class spring.
I have my Sti struts carefully locked up incase I want to go back to stock/sell up!
In the for sale section there is a whole Sti set-up for sale!!
You need to live on this Snet for a long time to find the stuff, but it is there.
