Default Strut bars for STi MY03->

Does anyone know if I can but these parts in a shop in UK or within EU?
I know I can buy at japanparts.com but I'd like to save some money on Swedish VAT and Tax and I guess the freight will be expensive from Japan.

In the picture I like to buy the bar on top and bottom.
(Strut Tower Bar Carbon Fiber)
(Strut Tower Bar Rear Aluminium (Sedan))

And also

The Version II Cusco Lower Arm Bar.

I think the top bar (carbon fibre) will only fit pre MY01 (classic) cars.

I have one of these for sale:

It is an official STi JDM front strut bar.
It fits all newage MY01> cars and has a Titanium section.
Please PM me if interested?

Nick

At www.japanparts.com they say that the carbon fiber can be fitted at STi MY03-04. Why should it not fit?

You have PM.

The actualy front strut top bolt pattern changed slightly
beginning with the Bug-Eyed preza's...

thus, the front Strut bars for the Classic's will not fit any late model Impreza

Hi Janne,

Looking at your original picture...I purchased the middle and bottom braces as a pair from an eBay trader for £100 inc postage within the UK. For a MY02 Bugeye - so they should be the same for your MY03+ Blobeye

Just a matter of keeping your eyes peeled

Hope this helps, Jon

You have a PM back.
I'll take back my comment about the carbon fibre one - I didn't know it had been released. So STi now have carbon fibre and titanium versions.

There are a lot of copies on the market for the other two bars, but they are not very stiff. You'd have to ensure that you were getting the genuine STi models.

If I can persuade you to go titanium the carbon fibre bars on the classics were reputedly quite soft and didn't offer a lot of bracing, but they do look nice.
Perhaps the new carbon ones are stiffer?
